This annual fun fixture took place on Saturday, 12th September. It was well-supported by members sporting an impressive array of multicoloured holiday-style attire, giving the impression that we were in Hawaii rather than Burnham on Sea!

The carnival atmosphere was further enhanced by an accompaniment of live music provided by our neighbours in the Manor Gardens.

Thanks must go to everyone who ensured that this was another successful and highly enjoyable afternoon for both players and spectators alike. The buffet, bar and raffle provided a welcome conclusion to the day.

For the record, the Captains’ team won the twelve-end triples match by a single point.  But, to be honest, the company was far more important than the overall result.
